Australian tennis doubles star who won the French Open and Wimbledon.

He began his amateur tennis career at age 18.

He won every major mixed doubles event in 1963, including the US Open and the Australian Open.

He fathered two children, Jennifer and Julien, with wife Carol.

He won the 1966 Wimbledon doubles title with partner John Newcombe .
