ABOUT KEN G. HALL
One of the most notable Australian directors in film history. He was responsible for over 35 titles between 1928 and 1957.
He studied at the North Sydney Boys' High School before making his first film in 1928.
He was given the prestigious Raymond Longford Award by the Australian Film Institute in 1976.
He married Irene Addison in 1925, who later died in 1972.
His life inspired the Ken G. Hall Award, which was awarded to Rupert Murdoch in 1995.
