ABOUT KENNETH JOHNSON
Director, writer and producer who is credited with the creation of popular TV shows like V, The Bionic Woman and The Incredible Hulk. He is also the director of films like Short Circuit 2 and Steel.
He was born in Pine Bluff and graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology.
In the 2000's he wrote a script for a new V miniseries but later adapted it into a novel.
He married actress and producer Susan Lee Appling, with whom he has one child, in 1977. He previously had three children with ex-wife Bonnie Hollaway.
He directed Shaquille O'Neal in the 1997 comic book adaptation Steel.
