Television personality known for hosting such Canadian programs as Kidstreet and The Next Line. Also an actor, he appeared in such television series as Boogies Diner, Due South, and Top Cops.

Early in his career, he played the role of Gabriel in a 1980s science fiction series called War of the Worlds.

He lent his voice to the 2000 animated/live-action film Thomas & the Magic Railroad.

He was born and raised in Canada.

He played a small role in Getting Away with Murder, a 1996 comedic film that featured performances by Dan Aykroyd , Lily Tomlin , and Jack Lemmon .
