ABOUT KHAMAN MALUACH

NBA center that was originally acquired by the Phoenix Suns during a draft-and-trade swap with the Houston Rockets during the 2025 NBA Draft. Prior to his NBA career, he also played basketball professionally in leagues across Sudan and Uganda. While playing for the Senegal based club, AS Douanes, won league MVP in 2023.

He first began playing basketball at the age of 13. A few years later, he was enrolled into the NBA Academy Africa.

He credits Luol Deng as being one of his biggest basketball influences. In fact, Luol Deng is the reason he wears the number nine.

Although he was born in Sudan, he grew up living in Uganda.

He was college teammates with Cooper Flagg .
