ABOUT KIREN RIJIJU

Indian lawyer and politician who is known for having served as the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports as well as Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Home Affairs. He is also known for his work as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He attended Hansraj College at the University of Delhi where he also earned his Law degree. He firsts enterted politics in 2000 when he served as a Member of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission.

He is also known for having served as a Member of Parliament for Lok Sabha.

He married his wife Joram Rina Rijiju in 2004.

He served under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports.
