ABOUT KITTY HARRIS
Soviet secret agent who worked in espionage across the globe. She worked against the United States to assist the Soviet penetration of the Manhattan Project in 1941. She ran agents in London, Berlin, Shanghai, Mexico and Los Alamos.
She was born in Canada before moving to Chicago. She joined the Communist Party of the USA in 1923.
She was identified in 2001 when her code name "Ada" or "Aida" was found in declassified files from the Venona Project.
In 1925, she married Earl Browder, an official with the Communist Party of the USA.
She is one of many famous intelligence operatives, including John O. Brennan .
