ABOUT KOBYBREA

Basketball player and athlete who plays the position of guard. He announced in April 2025 that he would be declaring for the 2025 NBA Draft. On his Instagram account kobybrea he posts about his professional prospects to his more than 60,000 followers.

He attended Norman Thomas High School in Manhattan as a freshman but was cut from the basketball team. He then transferred to Monsignor Scanlan High School as a sophomore and became the varsity team captain as a senior.

He was a member of the Dominican U17 basketball team in 2019, and competed in the U17 Centrobasket tournament. He is  6 ft 7 in tall. He was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Sixth Man of the Year twice, in 2022 and 2024. He had to have surgery in 2023, where he had metal rods inserted into his legs after getting multiple stress fractures.

His parents are both from the Dominican Republic.

The other man to be named the Atlantic 10 Conference Sixth Man of the Year twice was James Posey .
