Actor best known his television roles on Ringer, Life Unexpected, and North Shore. He began appearing in feature films in 2002 with his role in Home Base.

He was born in Reno and got his start acting on the series "Angel" in 2001.

He placed eighth on BuddyTV's list of TV's 100 Sexiest Men of 2010.

He married actress Julianne Morris in 2003. The couple has sons named Kristoffer, Micah, and Jude.

He co-starred with "The Social Network" actor Armie Hammer in the 2008 film "Billy: The Early Years".
