ABOUT KUO SHU-YAO

Taiwanese TV show host, actress, and singer who is commonly known as Yao Yao. She has appeared in films including Step Back to Glory, Live at Love, The Mad King of Taipei, and A Fool in Love, Love Like a Fool. She released her debut studio album, Honey, in 2008.

She began her career in the entertainment industry in 2008 when she appeared on the variety TV show Game King.

In 2013, she won the Golden Horse Award for Best New Performer for her work in the film Step Back to Glory.

After her father's death in 2007, she began working to support her family and soon ended up finding success in the entertainment business.
