ABOUT KYOGO FURUHASHI

Forward winger known for playing with the Japanese national team and the Celtic Football Club in the Scottish Premiership. He is number 8. He has played on 3 different professional teams throughout his career.

He started his professional career in 2017 playing with the J2 league team FC Gifu. In 2018, he moved to the J1 team Vissel Kobe.

He scored three goals with the Japanese national team in 2021 matches. In August 2021, he called out racism when fans from a rival team sang Anti-Asian songs in a video about him.

He was born in Nara, Japan. He is married and his wife gave birth to twins in November of 2024.

He is similar to other soccer players from Japan like Shinji Okazaki .
