L. Heisler Ball

ABOUT L. HEISLER BALL

Republican politician from Delaware who was U.S. Representative from 1901 to 1903, and a U.S. Senator from 1903 to 1905 and then again from 1919 to 1925.

He was part of the Rugby Academy in Wilmington and graduated from Delaware College in 1882 before receiving a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1885.

He financed the organization known as the Union Republicans.

He married Katherine Springer Justis in 1893.

He served as a Republican Senator like Calvin Coolidge .
