ABOUT LAETICIA AMIHERE

Canadian basketball player who is known for playing for the Atlanta Dream. She is also known for playing for the South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team and on Canada's 2020 Olympic team. In April 2022, she became an NCAA national champion.

In 2019, she graduated from King's Christian Collegiate. That same year she began her studies at the University of South Carolina .

She is the founder and owner of the non-profit Back to the Motherland, whose primary goal is to provide access through sports for underserved populations. Her Instagram account _theblackqueen_ has earned over 30,000 followers.

Her father is from Ghana and her mother is from Ivory Coast. She had an older brother that passed away in 2022.

She and Jaden Newman are both basketball players.
