Controversial talk show host who is well known for her simply titled show Laura as well as another simply titled show called Laura en America. She ran into legal trouble in 2021 for tax evasion. She was believed to leave Mexico and has not been found by the authorities.

She earned a law and political science degree and has taught classes within those fields.

She was attacked on social media when she used government helicopters for her show during Hurricane Manuel relief efforts. She has amassed a large following on her laurabozzo_of Instagram account where she posts behind-the-scenes content.

She was married to first husband Mario de la Fuente from 1980 to 2000. She later began dating singer Cristian Zuarez .

Her talk shows have been compared to The Jerry Springer Show.
