ABOUT LAURA THORN
Luxembourgish singer and musical educator who rose in popularity representing her country in the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest . Outside of her experience performing at Eurovision, she works as a teacher at a music conservatory.
She had an interest in the arts from a young age and grew up training in theory, piano, cello, keyboard, chamber music, and dance. She later studied at the Institut Royal Top Music and Pédagogie De Namur in Belgium.
She finished in 22nd place with her song "La poupée monte le son" at the 2025 Eurovision competition. The song was in honor of France Gall, a singer who won the Eurovision contest for Luxembourg in 1965.
She has noted that her parents have always been supportive of her musical interests and helped her enroll in many extracurricular activities from a young age.
She was interviewed by a Swiss media company in addition to other 2025 Eurovision contestants like Sissal and Tommy Cash .
