ABOUT LAUREN BETTS
Collegiate center and athlete who originally enrolled into Stanford University as a freshman in the year 2022. Following that season, she transferred to UCLA . While at UCLA, she earned first-team All-PAC-12 honors, and she was named a member of the PAC-12 All-Defensive team.
As a senior at Grandview High School, she was named Colorado's Gatorade Player of the Year. In addition to basketball, she was also a member of her school's swim team, soccer team and she danced.
While playing for Team USA, she won a silver medal during the 2023 FIBA AmeriCup. Unfortunately, she and Team USA lost to Brazil with a score of 69-58. She is extremely tall for a woman, standing at six feet, seven inches.
Although she was born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, she primarily grew up living with her family in the United States. She is the oldest of four siblings. Her father, Andrew, played basketball professionally for 14 seasons.
She was named a McDonald's All-American in the year 2022, just like Ashlyn Watkins .
