Composer and Argentine folk rock performer. He is sometimes called the Argentine Bob Dylan because of the social and political connotations in his songs. On his Leon Gieco YouTube channel, he has 190,000 subscribers who can see his live performances, jam sessions, and music videos.
When he was eight years old he bought a guitar, learned how to play, and started to perform with his dad's band. A couple of bands he played with as he grew up included Nocheros and Los Moscos.
One of his most popular videos has over 10 million views. It was for his 2021 song "Los Salieris De Charly."
His full name is Raúl Alberto Antonio Gieco, His wife is named Alicia Scherman, and they have two daughters, Joana and Liza.
