Son of tattoo artist, model, entrepreneur, and recording artist Kat Von D and author, artist, and musician Rafael Reyes .

His parents met in 2016 after his father asked his mother to appear in a video.

His mother is best known for her TLC show LA Ink , and in 2007, she broke the Guinness World record for tattooing the most people in a single day.

His parents married in February 2018 in Beverly Hills. His father has a daughter from a previous relationship who was born in 1994.

His parents were interviewed by David Choe on the first episode of The Choe Show.
