ABOUT LEIGH JANIAK
Film director and screenwriter known primarily for directing the horror film Honeymoon as well as the Fear Street trilogy. She has also directed several episodes of the horror television shows Scream and Outcast .
She attended New York University , where she got her undergraduate degree. She has also earned a PhD.
She made her professional directorial debut in 2014 with the film Honeymoon, which featured Rose Leslie .
In December 2015, she married Ross Duffer .
She worked alongside actresses Kiana Madeira and Julia Rehwald on Fear Street Part Three: 1666 .
