ABOUT LEIGHTON BAINES

English left back who joined Everton F.C. in 2007 after spending five years with Wigan Athletic; became a member of the English national team in 2010.

He spent a season in Wigan Atheltic's youth system before debuting for the senior team in 2002.

He was named Everton's Player of the Season in 2011 and 2013.

He married Rachel Baines in 2009. The couple has three children.

He joined Steven Gerrard on England's national team in 2010.
