ABOUT LENINE

A Brazilian singer-songwriter from Recife. From 1983 to 2021, he released 15 different albums. He has achieved a grand total of seven Latin Grammy Awards, which encompassed notable wins such as the 2005 accolades for Best Brazilian Contemporary Album and Best Brazilian Song.

His music career began at the age of 18. In 1983, he unveiled his inaugural LP, titled Baque Solto.

The Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone magazine ranked his live album, Em Trânsito, as the 26th finest Brazilian album of 2018. His song "Camarão Que Dorme a Onda Leva" has earned over 50 million streams on Spotify.

He is from Recife, Pernambuco Brazil.
