ABOUT LEO ŠTULAC

Professional defensive midfielder that was originally signed by the Koper Football Club in 2011 as a teenager. He later signed a multi-year deal with the Italian Serie A team Empoli FC in July 2019. He has also played for the Slovenian men's national team during his professional career.

He first discovered his passion for soccer as a young child growing up. He eventually joined the Koper youth club. He joined the Koper club at the age of 16, making his debut against Maribor.

He made his official senior team international debut with Slovenia while playing against the country Cyprus on September 9, 2018.

He grew up living with his family in the Koper, Slovenia area. He now lives along with his girlfriend, Tina.

He has played alongside Jan Oblak as a member of the Slovenian men's national team during his international career.
