ABOUT LEO CHENAL

NFL linebacker that was taken by the Kansas City Chiefs as a third round pick in the 2022 Draft. Previously, he played college football at the University of Wisconsin . Following his senior season at Wisconsin, he was an All-American and winner of the Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year.

He was considered a three-star prospect while at Grantsburg High School in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. As a high school senior, he was named Wisconsin's Gatorade Football Player of the Year.

At the conclusion of his rookie season, he and the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII. While playing in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles , he recorded six tackles in a 38-35 victory. During his rookie year, he started eight games for the Chiefs, and recorded his first career sack. He also had a sack in the Super Bowl.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Grantsburg, Wisconsin area. He is the youngest of two brothers.

He played alongside Patrick Mahomes II as a member of the Chiefs during the 2022 NFL season.
