ABOUT LEON SCHLESINGER
American film producer who founded Leon Schlesinger Studios which later became Warner Brothers Cartoons studio. He was a lead producer of the Looney Tunes cartoons.
He worked as an usher at a theater before founding Pacific Title and Art in 1919.
He appeared as himself in the 1940 short You Ought to Be in Pictures which combined live action with animation.
He was married to his wife Berenice.
He hired Chuck Jones to work at his studio to help produce the Looney Tunes.
