ABOUT LEROY WRIGHT

Power forward who played in the American Basketball Association Champion as a member of the Pittsburgh Pipers from 1967 to 1969. He was selected in the 2nd round of the 1960 draft by the Boston Celtics but never played in the NBA.

He was a two-time NCAA rebounding leader and a two-time West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year while playing at College of the Pacific.

He was a multi-sport athlete in high school playing football, basketball, and track and field.

He was born in New York City.
