Football coach who took over at Louisiana State University in 2005 after previously coaching Oklahoma State. He was named the head coach of Kansas University in 2018. He coached over 5 teams throughout his professional career.

He was a star football player in addition to playing baseball and wrestling.

In his first two seasons coaching at Oklahoma State, the team upset arch-rival and top-five team Oklahoma. His football coaching fame has led him to amass more than 30,000 followers on Instagram.

Has a daughter, Kathryn, with wife Kathy.

He won the 2011 College Football Coach of the Year Award; Joe Paterno had won the same award six years earlier.
