ABOUT LESLIE CROWTHER
Actor, comedian, and TV personality who hosted the British version of the popular game show, The Price is Right, from 1984 to 1988.
He studied piano as a youth and in 1944 he won a junior scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.
He was a presenter on The Black and White Minstrel Show and the children's program, Crackerjack, alongside Peter Glaze.
He married Jean Stone in 1954 and had five children.
He appeared on the sitcom, My Good Woman, starring Sylvia Syms .
