ABOUT LEWIS WHITE BECK
Former philosopher made famous for his published works on German philosophy and translating Immanuel Kant's writings.
He obtained his Bachelor's from Emory University in Atlanta in 1934.
He was elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1963.
His family was residing in Griffin, Georgia, when he was born.
He and musician Amy Ray both graduated from Emory University.
