Lisa Evers is a TV reporter with WNYW-TV/FOX 5 News in New York City, and host of the TV and radio show Street Soldiers with Lisa Evers. She has accumulated over 130,000 followers on Instagram, where she posts news stories and motivational quotes.

She was a model with Elite Model Management in the 1980s. She also has a black belt in karate, and in 1987 was the first woman to be inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame.

She speaks conversational Spanish and French. She was briefly a professional wrestler with the World Wrestling Federation in 1985.

She used to to married to the founder of the Guardian Angels charitable organization, Curtis Sliwa.

She has interviewed many hip-hop stars, like 50 Cent , Diddy , Jay-Z , DMX , and Fetty Wap .
