Chinese-American television personality known for her work on ABC's The View. She also hosted National Geographic Explorer and Our America with Lisa Ling.
After graduating from high school in 1991, she attended the University of Southern California.
As a broadcast journalist, she covered topics ranging from North Korea to the drug war in Colombia.
She married Paul Song in 2007; they have a daughter named Jett and a son named Ray.
She worked as a special correspondent for Oprah Winfrey 's show.
