Argentine film director and screenwriter known for films including Freedom, Liverpool, Los Muertos and Jauja.
In 1995, he directed his first work, a short film titled Dos en la vereda.
His film Jauja competed in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI Prize.
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
His film Jauja starred Viggo Mortensen , Viilbjørk Malling Agger and Ghita Norby .
