Host of Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business Network. He also appeared in the 2009 film State of Play. Up until his death, he hosted The Great America Show on iHeartRadio.

He played on his high school's football team. In 1967, he graduated from Harvard University with an economics degree.

He wrote the book Space, The Next Business Frontier. He was one of the hosts named in the Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News Network defamation lawsuit.

He has four children with his second wife Debi Lee Segura.

He guest starred as himself in a 2010 episode of The Good Wife , which starred Julianna Margulies .
