Contemporary French artist and sculptor who was known for her unique spider-like sculptures, such as Maman.
She attended the Art Students League of New York, where she produced some of her sculptures.
She was part of the American Abstract Artists Group along with Willem De Kooning.
She had three children and was married to Robert Goldwater.
She was inspired by Pablo Picasso .
