ABOUT LUAN PERES

Professional left-back that was signed by the French soccer club Olympique de Marseille in July 2021. Prior to Marseille, he was acquired by the Santos Football Club via loan transfer. He played in the UEFA Champions League as a member of Club Brugge during the 2021 club season.

He began his soccer career playing for the Portuguesa Sports Club's youth squad in 2002. He was eight at the time when he joined the team.

He made his professional club debut playing against the São Paulo Football Club on April 8, 2015 as a member of Portuguesa. His team lost the match 3-0.

He grew up living with family in São Paulo, Brazil. He and his girlfriend, Gabriela, began dating on May 3.

He is a Puma sponsored athlete just like LaMelo Ball and Michael Porter Jr.
