ABOUT LUCA GUADAGNINO
Director who has won international acclaim for such films as I Am Love, A Bigger Splash, and Call Me by Your Name . He has served on the jury of the Torino Film Festival, Louis Vuitton 's Journey Awards, and the Fashion Film Festival in Milano.
He spent much of his early years in Ethiopia. He later attended the University of Palermo and Sapienza University of Rome.
He directed his first opera, Falstaff, in Verona, Italy in 2011. In 2024, he released the popular tennis drama Challengers .
He is openly gay. His father was a history and Italian professor.
