ABOUT LUCAS GOURNA-DOUATH

Veteran defensive midfielder and athlete that originally signed his first professional club contract with AS Saint-Étienne as a teenager in the year 2020. After two seasons, he then signed a multi-year deal with the Red Bull Salzburg in the year 2022.

He initially began playing soccer as a kid with the Lieusaint youth squad. As a kid, he also played with Sénart-Moissy, US Torcy
and AS Saint-Étienne.

He made his official club debut as a professional with AS Saint-Étienne while playing against RC Strasbourg Alsace on the date of September 12, 2020. He was just 17 years old at the time. He has also played for FC Liefering during his professional soccer career.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Paris,
France. In particular, his family lived in the area of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges.

He is a Nike-sponsored athlete just like Cristiano Ronaldo .
