Kung Fu expert gained national attention as the runner-up on Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter 2.

He scored a TKO victory to begin his professional MMA career in October 2002.

He earned his first UFC Fight of the Night recognition with a hard-fought bout against Jonathan Goulet in 2006.

He had two sons, Zachary and Maxwell, with his wife Lara Cummo.

He was unable to defeat Joe Stevenson at The Ultimate Fighter 2 Finale in 2005.
