ABOUT LUTHER BURDEN

Former shooting guard who played in both the NBA and the ABA from 1974 to 1978. He was drafted by the New York Knicks during the second round of the 1975 NBA Draft.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Utah where he was twice named a member of the first team All-WAC.

During his professional playing career, he recorded over 1,762 points.

He grew up in New York.

He played alongside Phil Jackson during his NBA career.
