ABOUT MADDIE MOATE

Television presenter, filmmaker, and EduTuber on YouTube who hosted Newsburst on 02 Guru TV and Home for the Future for Channel 4 in 2012. She hosted the CBeebies series Do You Know?, a show that won her the BAFTA Children's Awards in 2017 in the presenter category.

She studied theatre, film, and television at the University of Bristol .

She became the lead presenter for BBC Earth Unplugged on YouTube which later earned her one-off TV highlight reel program on BBC America called It's a Mad Mad Maddie World! She became the resident technology expert on BBC 5 Live Saturday Edition in 2014.

She got engaged to science presenter Greg Foot in February 2018. They married later that same year in Iceland.

She and Cat Sandion have presented shows on CBeebies.
