ABOUT MADISEN SKINNER
Collegiate volleyball player who originally began her college career at the University of Kentucky where she was twice named to the first-team All-SEC and won the 2020 NCAA National Championship. Following her sophomore season at Kentucky, she then decided to transfer to the University of Texas . As a junior, she earned first-team All-Big 12 honors.
She is a graduate of Faith West Academy. During her senior season, she was named a high school All-American.
Despite being just a freshman, her .384 hitting percentage was the second-highest on Kentucky's team. During her team's championship match, she recorded a career-high 19 kills.
She grew up living with her parents and her five siblings in Katy, Texas. Her father, Brian Skinner , played basketball in the NBA for 14 seasons.
She is a former Kentucky collegiate athlete just like Jamal Murray and Devin Booker .
