Best known as the founder and singer for the Japanese punk band SiM, which is short for Silenze Iz Mine. SiM's albums EViLS and ANGELS and DEViLS both reached number nine in the Oricon weekly charts.
He formed the band in 2004 and played the guitar as well as sang during the first year of the band before switching over to solely singing.
His mahfromsim Instagram account has earned him over 210,000 followers and his Twitter has attracted 250,000 followers.
He welcomed a son with his wife, Alisa Durbrow, in 2018.
