ABOUT MANA IWABUCHI
Japanese soccer star who has emerged as one of the most recognizable female athletes in Japan. She rose to fame as a member of Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza and Japan's national team. She has represented her country in multiple FIFA Women's World Cup competitions as well as the Summer Olympics.
She joined her local soccer club, Sekimae SC, at the age of eight.
She won the EAFF Women's Football Championship Golden Boot in 2010 and 2019. She has shared moments from her soccer career on her iwabuchi.m_jp Instagram account, which boasts upwards of 150,000 followers.
Her older brother, Ryota, has played soccer for Fujieda MYFC and FC Ryukyu, among other clubs.
