ABOUT MANUEL JOSé OSSANDóN

Agronomist and politician who became a Senator of the Republic of Chile in 2014.

He became a qualified agricultural technician at Inacap, and received a diploma in business administration at the Adolfo Ibáñez University.

He was mayor of Pirque from 1992 to 2000.

His parents are Roberto Ossandón Valdés and Ximena Irarrázabal Correa. He married Paula Lira Correa. They have eight children.

Fernando Flores has also served as a Chilean Senator.
