ABOUT MANUELA VANEGAS

Veteran women's left back that has played soccer professionally in countries such as Colombia and Spain during her career. In 2021, she signed a multi-year deal with the Spanish La Liga squad Real Sociedad. She has also played for the Colombian women's national team during her professional career.

She first began playing soccer as a young girl coming up. She later signed her first professional club contract with Formas Íntimas at the age of 12.

She was given the opportunity to play for Team Colombia during the 2018 and 2022 Copa América tournaments. She was also given a chance to play in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

She grew up living with her family in Copacabana, Colombia.

She is an Adidas-sponsored athlete just like James Rodríguez and Lionel Messi .
