ABOUT MARCELO SARACCHI

Veteran left-back who first began his professional club soccer career with the Uruguayan-based team Danubio F.C. as a teenager in 2015. Since then, he has played soccer professionally in countries such as Argentina, Germany, Turkey, and Spain. He has also played for the Uruguayan men's national team.

He originally began playing soccer as a kid with the squad Progreso Paysandú. He later joined the Danubio Football Club at the age of 14.

While playing with the River Plate Athletic Club, he won the 2016 Copa Argentina Championship. The following season, he led his team to the 2017 Supercopa Argentina Championship at the age of 19.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Paysandú, Uruguay. He now lives along with his partner, Luciana, and their three children.

He played alongside Marcos Rojo and Edinson Cavani as a member of the Boca Juniors during the 2023 club season.
