ABOUT MARCUS DENMON

Basketball player from Kansas City who has made a name for himself overseas with teams like the Italian team New Basket Brindisi. At the University of Missouri, he was a two-time First-Team All-Big 12 selection.

He attended Hogan Preparatory Academy, where he won the DiRenna Award as the best high school basketball player in Kansas City.

He and his University of Missouri teammates won more games than any senior class in school history.

His cousin, Marion, died from gunshot wounds in 2010.

He was teammates with shooting guard Kim English at Missouri.
