ABOUT MARCUS SPEARS

Former NFL defensive end who played with the Dallas Cowboys from 2005 to 2012. He became an analyst for college football's SEC Network following his retirement from the NFL.

He won a BCS National Championship with the Louisiana State University Tigers in 2004.

He was named First-team All-SEC and was a Consensus All-American during his time at LSU.

He has children named Macaria and Troy.

He and Cowboys teammate DeMarcus Ware were both taken in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.
