She argued with fellow housewife LeeAnne Locken after alleging she used a gift basket as a toilet at a charity event. She launched a luxury skincare line called Rags-2-Riches.

She worked as a nurse and a part-time model.

In 2004, she opened a medical spa called SkinSpaMed in Dallas. She served on the board of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She supports the Women's Council for the Dallas Arboretum.

She married lawyer Angel Reyes. They have a daughter named Sofia.

She was friends with Stephanie Hollman and Cary Deuber .
