ABOUT MARIE SIMONSEN
Norwegian journalist who became widely recognized as the political editor for Dagbladet. Previously, she worked for the newspapers Dagens Næringsliv and VG and has written short-form material for NRK radio.
She studied political science, literature and law at the University of Oslo.
She co-authored the 2010 book Bråk! Den store likestillingssvindelen.
Her father Gustav was a prominent attorney and politician.
Mariella Frustrup and Celine Aagaard are two other successful journalists with Norwegian ancestry.
