Politician known for being the 25th State Attorney of the city of Baltimore. She is the youngest chief prosecutor in any major American city and was elected to her position in 2015 at the age of 34. She is popular on Instagram and has over 80,000 followers.

She attended Tuskegee University for her bachelor's degree and then Boston College for her law degree. She held a series of legal internships in Boston before serving as a law clerk and Assistant State Attorney in Baltimore from 2011 to 2015.

She charged six officers for a variety of charges ranging from second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of Freddie Gray in 2015.

She was born in Boston Massachusetts and lives in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. She is married to Maryland State Delegate Nick Mosby and they have two daughters.

She was criticized by the lawyer Alan Dershowitz for charging the police officers in the death of Freddie Gray.
